Excellent workout- maybe not for absolute beginners!
I am used to intense workouts and have been using Hannah Waterman's DVD with great results. This DVD is excellent. it really gets you sweating and burning the fat. Even after just a few workouts with this, my muscles were starting to tone and I noticed a difference. However, the negatives for me are the lack of a formal ab's section. Although the standing ab's exercises are good, I prefer a more structured approach that enable me to properly engage my core and breathe properly through each exercise for maximum benefit- with the speed of these exercises, I felt I wasn't able to do this. This is just a personal opinion though.
I found many postive points including Jillian's excellent method of instruction, continuing reminders to breathe correctly and use correct posture and also her postive affirmation's to motivate you.
As an increasingly fit person, I recommend this workout if you want something intense to do, if you're a beginner, by all means have a go but be realistic, take a breather when you need to and if you cannot do certain things, don't be down hearted, just know that through commitment and persistance, you will improve. This comes form a previously unfit size 20 lass who is now rapidly approaching size 12- exercise works!!!
