This review is from: Measure and Construction of the Japanese House (Books to Span the East & West) (Paperback)
overall very well written and illustrated; an excellent book to give an insight into the method and theory of traditional design methods. A real contrast to western methods of construction, theory and expectations of domestic design. Volume Housebuilders please note.
Not a coffee table book, but a real and useful explanation of the theory and practice of traditional Japanese design. worth the money
