Content is superb, quality is disappointing,
This review is from: Nature's Great Events [Blu-ray] [Region Free] (Blu-ray)
I have a region B disc.
Just one thing to add to all the good stuff said already: the image quality is just disappointing. This blu-ray is not in real 1080p, it is 720 or even less, and it is sooo obvious on a big screen (I use a JVC projector + 120''), it's not even funny.
It's such a shame that such outstanding content is affected by visible artefacts and inferior clarity. People, who would like to watch this documentary on a good equipment -- be warned and do not have high expectations about quality.
What is more disappointing, is that the actual resolution is not mentioned on the package, so there's no way to be aware of it until you play the actual disc at home.

If you watch the BBC Nature programmes you'll see 720 on the cameras which the BBC think is HD despite not being much better than standard TV 576 lines
