Competent Book and Chef,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: My Kitchen Table: 100 Recipes for Entertaining (Paperback)
Having watched M. Blanc cooking simple, and not so simple, recipes on TV, I thought this book might be interesting.
When I looked through it, it was.
Plenty of simple, effective, and not over extravagant recipes.
Well worth the purchase. My Kitchen Table: 100 Recipes for Entertaining

The Legendary Lord Sword says:
"Competent Book and Chef"
Isn't that a bit like saying Ayrton Senna was quite a fast driver ...or Pele knew how to kick a ball!
I actually found your title quite insulting to Monsieur Blanc!

Mr. Robert W. Bleach says:
My apologies to you sir, I meant no disrespect to M. Blanc; he is, as you obviously feel, a superlative chef.
I really meant to indicate that the book itself, written by the great man, was competently written, as some of the recipes' apparent complexity was expertly explained. Something lesser chefs find quite difficult.
