1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Rubbish, 5 Nov 2009
This review is from: TINY USB 2.0 WIRELESS BLUETOOTH ADAPTER DONGLE (Electronics)
I bought two of these dongles. One for my PC and one for my laptop. Initially i was quite happy with the product. After about 2 weeks the PC repeatedly connected to found blue tooth harware and then lost connection a few minutes later, this occurred for the next few weeks until it eventually died (the LED inside went out also).

The dongle in the laptop just died all of a sudden about a month after purchase (again the LED went out too).

They're are cheap but they fail after about a month, i wonder if thats the reason for the price?!?!?!?!?!?

Don't buy.

I agree totally. I dont need regualr relibale bluetooth, jsut the occasional pic sent from a mobile. I get this cos I sometimes dont want to take out memory card. I expect when it arrives to work and last a few months at least but hey its pound land stuff so if its rubbish and important go pay 25 for a top quality item.

I think it is a valid and useful review. Why spend 25 when one for 1 will work? That would be crazy! However, thanks to the reviewer, I now know that the cheap one is too good to be true, and that I shouldn't waste my time with it.

I 100% agree, it was TOTAL rubbish. Finding the drivers on the net is nigh-on impossible, and when I DID find, 'some', (ie not the right ones as apparently the, 'right', ones don't even exist!), it still refused to work. I gave up and binned it. Really, really poor quality!

Guys, I work for Logitech and this is not BT dongle problem. it is Windows issue. Without any updates on WIN 7 it works fine. BT is not standard on Windows any more. It is all about the licence. Bt has been used without any licence for ages. Connect it to XP or Vista or Linux ...will works straight no problem. In this case problem is Windows itself. So that I do not install any Service Pack for Windows and my system is stable, no problem, fast.

The same MYTH with Viruses ...I do not even have any anti vir software working 24/7.... It is good only for big companies etc as there are in danger to loose their confident data and only it this case such as software is useful. Companies are not anonymous and is easy to obtain their IP address, servers etc... I have just Regcure program and scan once a week with anti malware software. No firewall . There is no really good virus protection in the end. If its gonna be you the virus will get your computer anyway before the update for anty virus comes in case of some new vir ...it is all myths ...if u don't open unknown files, don't browse to xxxx websites and do not allow to open any unknown Java scripts - YOU ARE SAFE!!! There is chance 1: 6 000 000 000 000 that your computer will be attacked by some hacker. Think it over!

Nonsense. Viruses for Windows are very common. Most users will experience at least one during use.

Free antivirus software will block most.
