I cannot stop watching this film!!!! breathtaking!!!!!! 6 stars if possible!!!!!,
This review is from: Rush [DVD] (DVD)
I never ever write reviews. Nothing is ever good enough!!!!!I am not a formula one fan. This was a film i was mediocre about seeing in the cinema. It turned out to be the most captivating, breathtaking, emotional and entertaining film i have ever had the pleasure to see. I don't remember hunt or lauda, i was a baby at the time, so i had no pre conceived ideas or knowledge of the story. I cannot champion this film enough. It is AMAZING and BRILLIANT in every way. Production and acting is superior to any i've seen. After seeing this film, ( six times in total so far, yes it's THAT good), I've watched interviews with the real niki lauda and james hunt and it amazed me how identical chris hemsworth and daniel brhul are to them in rush. I could praise it all night long!!!!! Can't wait for the dvd. I am in awe of Daniel brhul. Total genius and god damn sexy. I love niki laudas cold undiplomatic steeliness. Wish it was the 1970's now. I would be there!!!! Thank you for this film!!

I agree so much, i have no interest in F1 and really only watched it as Chris Hemsworth was in it. Loved it! After seeing the clips of the real guys at the end i was amazed at how similar they were, Daniel Bruhl is truly fantastic! I've enjoyed a BBC doc about the pair and watching a few interviews online with Daniel since, which just shows up even more how excellent he was. (I didn't know much of Daniel before so he was a blank slate whereas i was seeing Thor a bit at first watching Chris!)
I hope the blu ray is filled with extras, interviews and deleted scenes as i can't seem to get enough of it at the minute!

I think I need to go into RUSH rehab!!!!! I have seen this film in the cinema so many times now that it's just wrong!!!!! I can't stop watching it!!!!!! I am planning on going to nurburgring to experience it first hand. It has influenced me so much. And I might check out Daniel Brhuls restaurant in Berlin as well!!!!!

Go Sara, enjoy the 'ring while you can.... really interesting that this film has made such an impact on you. I just hope you spend some quiet time away from the adrenalin at the nordschleife and see what you feel inside.. that could be interesting at the least - life changing at best.. Good Luck. G

Why are you reading the reviews then, if you know it's not been released yet???? You've really contradicted yourself there. The dvd will be the same film i've seen in the cinema so i've reviewed it on that basis for anyone thinking of buying it. I don't go to the cinema everyday as i work full time but i have made the effort to see this as many times as i could because it's amazing. That's the point i was trying to make. Anyone writing a review of a dvd discusses the content of the story not the actual physical dvd, so the fact it hasn't been released on dvd yet is irrelevant. The reviews would be the same. Why else would amazon publish them???? Enough said!!!!

Oh do shut up you nit picking punctilious old wind bag.
Good for you Sara, loved your review and enthusiasm (may you watch it another 600 times!) and I rarely buy anything through Amazon, but it is arguably the most reliable review source on the net, so I do visit here before purchasing stuff either online or instore.
I already saw the movie and loved it and I would have bought the movie on the strength of your review alone.

I have previously been informed by Amazon that they allow reviews prior to the release of a product for this very reason, i.e. to cater for those who have watched something at the cinema/ on TV etc. And although I do get annoyed when people abuse this by posting pointless speculative reviews after no or minimal viewing, in this particular case C.Wise is simply wrong.
