In the Land Free of Evil Hippies,
This review is from: In the Land of Grey & Pin (Audio CD)
Before I mention the album, I suggest you look up all reviews by this twerp called 'The Evil Hippy'. You'll see that each 'review' is little more than an excuse to 'run off at the mouth'. He 'reviews' genres of music that he says he does not like. He does not seem to understand the use of capital letters at the beginning of sentences and, generally, appears to be self-publicising troll. Read his 'review' in that context and you'll rush out and buy 'In The Land of Grey and Pink' and be glad that you did so.
The music is mostly gentle, wonderfully melodic and captures an era wehere musicians were free - nay, encouraged, to try something new. Each Caravan album (after the first) stood on the shoulders of its predecessor and jumped from there.
This is an album by skilled musicians who played well together and who, despite what the twerp would have you believe, wrote great songs.
