Bootleg unofficial cash in.,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Rush ABC 1974 (Audio CD)
I have been a collector of Rush for many years nearly 25 years in fact. This recording has been released on countless bootleg labels over the years. I have a least 2 copies of it. When I saw this on Amazon I thought it would be a good way to get a good recording of this show must have been re mastered or something as this appears to be an official realise. Be warned the sound quality is no better than the bootleg copies I already had in my collection. If you are a Rush collector like myself you should already have this show on bootleg if that is the case avoid it's not worth buying. If you are new to Rush and would like this recording this is a good way to get it. The packaging is better than most of the bootlegs I have seen but the sound is no better. It is a classic recording but it does look like cash in buy an unauthorised realise. Not a mention of Anthem any ware on the package. It is questionable weather Amazon should even be selling this item. You have been warned. There is also no mention of this item on the Rush I phone app news so just be warned.

So you think because you stole this recording, it is not worth others having a chance to hear. Shame on you.

Kenneth R. Wynne says:
Doh!! All he's sayting is that it's a stolen recording anyway, so you can choose to pay the theif for it or get a copy where the theif doesn't get paid. It's up to you. You can be sure that RUSH or their affiliates will not get paid when you buy this.
Where's the shame in that??

P. Gates says:
This recording is already in the public domain (and has been for many, many years) and freely available to all and not from an mp3 source as this CD is. Why pay a bootlegger to own this inferior CD. Rush gets nothing from the sale of it

Mr. Patrick De-la-mare says:
Just to put the record strait the bootleg copies of this recording that I own I did not steal I brought them at record fairs and paid cash for them the last time I checked that is not theft on my part. I am just telling people it is a bootleg and not a official product and also warning about the quality. Its up to them weather they buy it...
