5.0 out of 5 stars Aged 35+ reviewer: Best next-gen game I've ever played !!, 29 May 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) (Video Game)
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is the first game in a very long time which gave me the urgent need to replay on first completion. Being a hard-working 35+ male with a family, and having lived through, experienced and enjoyed the "golden age" of gaming in my pre-family life (i.e Arcades, C64, Famicom, SNES, PC, PS1, PS2), I have relatively very little precious game-time left during the week. If u can understand where I'm coming from, and have no time to waste with "dud" games, then you'll find that Uncharted 2 is absolutely THEE RIGHT GAME to fill this precious game-time. This game takes every aspect of a third-person view adventure game (that you may already be familiar with) and then MAXES it out! The characters, storyline, gameplay, graphics, stage-design, sound-effects, music and voice-acting are all top-notch. When you read stories of how this game has literally "cleaned up" multi-format Game of the Year Awards around the globe, then actually playing it will prove to you just why. As a one-player game I was completely in awe of Uncharted 2, but a special mention has to be made regarding the Online Multiplayer and Co-op aspect of the game. It's not unnecessarily complicated and is a great deal of fun to pick up and play when you're in the mood, a great "icing on the already fantastic cake" of this top-quality game production. I cannot recommend this game more. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3)

Uncharted 3 is now at the top of my short, precious game pre-order list.

It's pretty good but not the best of the current gen.

And it's not "next gen" it's current gen, as "next gen" we don't know what games will come for the new consoles.

Btw, Famicom was the JNP version of NES, sure you know this.

As you're a hard-core player, I bet you bought the triggers, because it's plain stupid that originally the L2/R2 buttons slips the fingers of the players, no idea why Sony did such idiotic thing.
