Not at all bad but not the best value,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Copland: Appalachian Spring (Audio CD)
This is a perfectly decent rendition of three of Aaron Copland's famous orchestral works - Fanfare for the Common Man, Rodeo and Appalachian Spring. If you only want the basics, this Telarc disc is a good choice, and the Georgia-based orchestra should certainly give an authentic Appalachian feel to the eponymous suite.
After I bought this CD, I discovered another nice recording [Copland: Vocal and Orchestral Works, also available from Amazon] which is a 2CD box set and contains many more tracks for only a little extra money, so much better value overall.

Careful - I found this review (of a CD by a Georgia based Orchestra) attached to an MP3 recording by the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
I suspect that Amazon is showing its usual understanding of classical music!
