Good - most of the time...,
This review is from: Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS Enabled Mens Sports Watch with Heart Rate Monitor (Electronics)Got the forerunner setup really quickly, all information you need is displayed, satellite location could be a bit quicker. The heart rate strap is a bit on the heavy side compared to my old Polar one. The uploading feature requires a lot of software as in Garmin USB-drivers, communication tools and what have ya. The garminconnect page is excellent though to keep track of your training.
Then you upgrade the Internet Explorer and the uploading stops working. After a suggested firmware upgrade the gadget stops working altogether-having used it only for 2 weeks. Return to sender - a couple of days later I receive a refurbed replacement only to learn that some guy in California used it for a year already as the stored history of the device reveals.
It is working now but still unhappy with buying a new one and getting an old one back. Would I buy again? not sure...

not much of a refurb, then.

Yep - buyer beware with the forerunner - still needs several attempts to initiate upload - the Edge 800 I bought at the same time always is there straight away...

Surely if you've only used it for 2 weeks, you can ask Amazon for a refund rather than suffer a refurbished watch?

Why didnt you send it back to Amazon? they would have replaced it with a new one im sure.
