This review is from: The Ultimate Guide to Men's Style (Kindle Edition)
While the title oversells the content a bit, the book is not to be discounted as a solid guide that will serve you reasonably well in determining how to dress in most situations. The author covers all the basics of colour, fit, cut, style, etc. for everything from white and black tie events, via regular business attire, to business casual and finally casual dress.
There are some basic pointers towards accessories (from watches, to sunglasses, pocket squares, ties, shoes, belts, etc.) on top of the advice on suits, trousers, shirts, and other main components that should be found in every adult's wardrobe.
The author also does not go overboard (in terms of suggested quantities or price ranges), giving solid advice on the absolute basics and then building on from there (both in terms of quantity and quality).
While probably not something for a seasoned businessman / professional, most adolescents would greatly benefit from the advice, as would, frankly speaking, many adults who have worked in less formal environments most of their lives and for whom business attire is somewhat of an enigma.
Finally, the book is relatively quick to read, has solid illustrations caturing the main points the author is making and the writing style is at least as pleasant as the attained look should be (if you follow the advice herein, that is).
