This review is from: Paul Lamond QI Board Game (Toy)
First off, I want to say that I really like QI on the TV. This board game, however, leaves so much to be desired that you would have to rent a skip to fill it with said muchness. It has no strategy, no charm and is of the variant of games where you either know something ... or you don't. A far cheaper version could be made by picking up an encyclopedia, randomly selecting a page and asking some ridiculously obscure fact from it.
Worse though is the idea of the klaxxon. My oh my, a big red button beloved of nuclear endowed rulers everywhere and with a grating noise sample to boot. Play it with kids and, surprise surprise, all they want to do is hit it ... over and over again ... irrespective of whether they know the answer or not, whether there is a strategy or not.
So, in summary, buy something else. Settlers of Catan is good, Scrabble (with rule changes), Boggle, Crib, Taboo. Just not this.
