This review is from: Thrustmaster Elite Fitness Ultimate Pack for Balance Board and Wii Fit Plus (Wii) (Video Game)I bought this product after having spent the last 4 weeks working out on the Wii with Wii Fit. As the time passed I found the whole experience lacking. So after reading some other reviews about this product I decided to give it ago.
The best bit of the Thrustmaster kit is the raised platform for the Wii board, this raises the board roughly 3 to 4 Wii boards high off the ground, and although I thought this would not be sufficient; it actually works. It does work well and at first I did feel a bit uneasy stepping up and down off it, I soon used the Yoga mat to hold it in place; this fixed everything and made it feel much more stable (although not 100%), but you get use to it. The ankle weights each weigh almost 1lb, so whether you work out on Free Jog or Step Plus these weights add another dimension to your workout. The Yoga mat (that's what I call it) works nicely when jogging as it cushions your feet and the arm strap which holds the Wii remote when jogging does a good job of not making your Mii speed up and down, like he use to when I kept the remote in my jogging bottoms. You have to remove the Wii remote skin to use the arm strap, but seeing as I have two remotes there's no problems.
10 out of 10 for the Thrustmaster Pack I doubt it, but this product is dam close and my work outs have become that touch more intensive.
