a darker shade of grey's.,
This review is from: Grey's Anatomy - Season 5 [DVD] (DVD)When Seattle Grace is relegated to the 12th teaching hospital, the scene is set for something less upbeat than previous series's. The fun has definitely gone out of Grey's Anatomy compared to the past, but that is not to say it isn't as addictive as usual.
If you thought you had seen the last of Danny Ducat, then you will be either delighted or dismayed to discover that he features heavily in series 5. For me it was the latter, as I always found him irritating.
There are some unlikely love matches amongst the characters, but I thought the onscreen chemistry was missing in all of them.
Bailey saves the day as usual and brings her tremendous acting skills to every scene she is in. George on the other hand has been reduced to bit parts here. There are some new cast members, but none of them apart from Dr Owen Hunt make much of a dent in the show.
There are some great scenes, and some not so great but the flavour of the show is still there. Overall it is not my favourite series, but it's not enough to stop me wishing for the release of series 6.
