5.0 out of 5 stars a sheer stunning album., 25 Mar. 2008
This review is from: Bells Boots and Shambles (Audio CD)
it was a little late to go the one-song-melting-into-another style of psychedelia, but here it is carried out with expertise.
My only quible is that the 2nd and final super-strumming guitar sequence of the last piece seems more like filler to make it to the end of the record
.
It is too bad we did not get album #4 which might have happened as they were together for another 2 years.
Repertoire has just remastered (well, 2006) St Radiguns and it sounds stunning.

I am told that Bells Boots & Shambles is next, maybe in the summer
Martin Cockerham was a genius
Barbara Gaskins voice is lovely silken, soothing intelligent-help me out here, Im running out of adjectives-any way a beauty to listen to

Mark C. says:
to the person charging £ 280 for this-whilst some may care that this is perhaps-and exact replica of the LP-I dont know there must be Kanji or Polydor KK on it
Repertoire in Germany has recently remastered ST RADIGUNS using some state of the art process, BELLS BOOTS & SHAMBLES is next up for remastering in the fall of 2008. Now a near mint condition of the UK might be worth this much-but youre way off base-you can even find this edition around at £30 or less if you look
