This review is from: Classic Rock Legends: The Zombies [DVD] [2011] (DVD)
This concert filmed live at Metropolis Studios in January 2011 marked the 50th anniversary of the first time the Zombies played together. The concert features founder members Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone. Supporting them are Tom Toomey on guitar and father and son rhythm section Jim Rodford (ex Kinks) on bass and his son Steve on drums.

The set list features a host of Zombies classics and songs by Argent and solo work by Colin Blunstone. There are also some new songs in the mix. This concert is simply superb and the band are playing better than ever. The sound and vision quality is very good. This dvd is highly recommended. Go buy it!

Bill Peter says:
I think that it's worth saying that Colin Bluntstone's voice - unlike some of his contemporaries - is still as strong as ever, and the harmonies of the other band members create a great overall sound.
