Massive Room for Improvement,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Manchester City: Season Review 2012-2013 [DVD] (DVD)
In terms of releasing a proper season review, Manchester City still have a long way to go.
Firstly, the basic criteria is to show every goal from every game, including the ones that you lose. Was dissapointed that they just skipped over the loses to Dortmund (0-1) and Sunderland (0-1). Makes them seem like sore losers.
Secondly, professional commentary is always better. The City TV commentators are terrible at best and there needs to be some SKY/ITV/BBC/ESPN commentary. Surely City - the richest club in the land - can afford to pay for this ???
Other areas for improvement - player interviews would be superb, match by match selection (as opposed to month by month) and just all round better editing. It seems the producers wanted to squish the entire season into 90 minutes. So what if it goes over 90 minutes ???
As a collector of season reviews, I always say look at the previous ones released by Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. They have done it the right way for years.

I agree with the comments regarding to commentators. I have last season's DVD review, & it would have been so much better with professional commentators.
