This review is from: Kärcher Window Vac Extension Pole - For WV50, WV55, WV60 and WV70 (Garden & Outdoors)
I was so impressed with the window vac that I decided to get the extension lance to be able to do the outside windows. It arrived very promptly and I decided to give it a go the following day.
The lance is very sturdy with simple push-in buttons to release the different heads. At the side of the lance is a knob which turns and allows you to change the angle of the head. It does make the vac heavier but not by too much. It would not reach the upper floor of a house but is good for the ground floor and high windows.
The cleaning head has a good quality, soft, absorbent fleecy type cover which is removable for washing. The idea with this is that you dampen it and then use the spray bottle from the standard window vac pack to coat with solution and then the window gets washed.
The rubber vac fitting completely replaces the original ones and has a slot to attach it to the lance. It is this head that lost the product a star as I did not find it as good as either of the original ones, it did not seem to be as firm as the original and the whole thing wobbled a bit on the end of the lance. It may just be that as I get used to using it and get the angle right this becomes less of a problem but for now I had to go over the windows to get bits that had been missed. It is also a little fiddlly to get the angle right and the vac will not go onto the lance if the angle is too acute, this means that even if you have got the perfect position you might need to change the angle again when swapping the head back and forwards between the cleaning head and the vac.
Other than the slight difficulties mentioned it is much easier and safer to use the lance than get a stepladder out and makes the window vac a much more usable product.

Amazon Customer says:
As an elderly person (female), would the whole unit including head be easy enough for me to use on the inside roof of my conservatory. Do you include an instruction book

I am not a spring chicken myself and I find it OK to hold. I live in a bungalow so I can wash all my windows myself with the help of the extension lance. I usually to do the front half of the building in one go and leave the back for another day. I bought the Karcher because I had a bad shoulder and I find it OK to use. The only reservation I have for you is that the angle would be different for a conservatory roof so I guess it would depend on the strength of your shoulders. There was no instruction book just pictures on the packaging. Hope this helps.

A Sturgess says:
I was just wondering if this extension pole will fit my WV50 Karcher window vac, as the product description say compatible models are VW 50, VW60, and VW70 !! A bit confusing!!

Sorry I don't know, Mine is a WV60 so it might just be a typo. I got a bit curious and checked the Karcher website and it definitely fits the WV range and Karcher do not show a VW range at all. It looked like a genuine Karcher product in proper packaging and so on so I think this is probably a typing mistake.
