Stunning picture/performance, However a dozen of stuck pixels!!!,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: LG 24EB23PY 24-inch LED 1920 x 1200 VGA DVI Display Port USB Speakers Height Adjustable Monitor (Accessory)
I bought this monitor as a blind purchase, There were no reviews on the web (Only in German). bit the bullet and ordered one but not with pleasure.
However I like the Price to Performance ratio.
1920X1200 is super stunning on this AH-IPS monitor!! Colours are beautiful, Images are crystal, Response time is very good (Also GAME option in the presets and loads more features. And the resolution/Colors are just Night and Day between VA,TN and 1080p panels and this.
Nice build quality and matte screen with very nice and thin bezel finish. Plenty inputs, DVI-D, VGA, DISPLAY PORT, Audio in + out, 2 USB inputs.
Also easy Vertical rotatable and perfect viewing angles.
This monitor arrived with MORE THAN 8 STUCK GREEN/RED PIXELS!!! It was noticeable from the very beginning the screen turned on, It is mostly in the center of the screen from top to bottom which is really distracting.
Stand is a little flimsy but not that bad to put me off.
VGA input did also not detect via my laptop, (Not the laptops fault as it works fine with the same VGA cable on a different panel)
Also no Display port cable included so you need to buy that separately. Whilst a DVI cable is supplied alongside with a VGA cable, Power cable, Audio out cable and a CD with the drivers on it.
I will be returning this LG Monitor just because of the dozen of stuck pixels and counting, It is a shame as I really fell in love with the stunning picture quality of this monitor, With 5 ms response time it was great for gaming for the first 10 minutes. but then got distracted in dark scenes by the stuck pixels (which only appeared in black background.
However it is possible that I just got unlucky and got send a bad unit.
Overall performance and quality of the Monitor it really deserves a 5 star rating
set aside from the Pixel problems which really put me off from keeping it.

Thank you for posting something about this screen!
I've scoured the internet for a review in English but could find reviews in either German or Dutch.
I just bought this screen myself because there was a deal on it, let's hope you only had a defect unit.

Yes, thank you.
I've had the monitor for about a week now and there is nary a problem.
You're right, the screen is a sight to behold!

Thank you - can you (if possible) do a further report now you've had it for a few months or do you feel nothing to add to the original report?
