This review is from: PowerBee Endurance Deluxe Solar Fairy Lights 120 WHITE Quality Superbright LED's Multi Function Indoor / Outdoor Garden, Party, Tree Lights for ALL YEAR round use including winter (White, 1 strand of 11.9 meters) (Kitchen & Home)
I bought one set of 120 Powerbee solar fairy lights 10 months ago, and have not had to recharge them once - all through the winter, even on the dullest, darkest of days, the lights came on bright at dusk. I've got them strung around either side of an arch and they bring the garden to life at night. I'm so impressed that I've bought another two sets for my two daughters in South Africa and I know they won't be disappointed. There are so many rubbishy solar lights around, that it's reassuring when you find a superior product like this. A bonus is that you have the option of charging the solar panel inside, without having to drag all the lights with, if you need or want them brighter in winter, but I didn't find it necessary. I would recommend these to anyone, they're absolutely gorgeous and my neighbours are always commenting.

Hello, If you open the little flap at the back of the solar panel, where the on/off switches are, there's a hole in which you plug in the one end of the wire and the other end goes into your wall socket - you should have received one of these along with the lights. This charges your solar panel which you then attach the lights to after 12 hours or thereabouts.

Hi, thanks for replying. I've looked at the back of the solar panel, no flap, just a panel that is screwed on tightly with 4 screws in each corner, either I'm being really thick or it may be that you brought your set a couple of years ago and they've changed the way the solar panel is put together and you are no longer able to charge the unit indoors. Am very disappointed with the lights though, worked brilliantly the first night but only now come on for about 60 mins before fading to nothing. I have a few single lights that I brought from B&Q and they are still coming on every evening without fail. Thanks for trying to advise, much appreciated.

Yes, I bought mine about 3 years ago and I have to confess that they have now died on me. But where are your switches to control the light patterns or to switch off altogether, because that's where the socket is for the plug to attach the one end? If you didn't receive a plug at all, then perhaps they have changed the package, but if it says you can charge the solar panel inside, then you should contact the supplier. And if they're not performing properly, then send them back. I now live in South Africa where there is a lot more sunshine, but I did notice in the UK that most of my solar lights only lit for a very short period of time during the winter months and worked better during the summer. Hope you can sort this out to your satisfaction.
