4.0 out of 5 stars 4 stars for dvd, booklet and packaging, 1 star off for the re-recordings!, 12 July 2010
This review is from: Greatest Hits Remixed (Audio CD)
without a doubt this is a well packaged greatest hits remixed set of canadian band's Triumphs dinest moments and to some may recall their only uk appearence at a rock concert at port vales football ground. the booklet provides plenty of info on the bands ups and downs and a card picturing the bands albums show that their back catalogue will be undergoing somthing of a remastering treatment so watch this space.......

now for the recordings of the songs on offer is where a star is deducted , allied forces, and somebody out there just manage to pull it off but one song i loved the most "just one night" is dreadful the drummer's vocals have aged quite badly and sounds strained whilst their cover of the everly brothers "love hurts" is one that needs a patient ear.

this greatest hits is not one to avoid but one to approach with caution to those who have followed them and those new to the band.

Interesting that you mention that the release suggest that the albums will be remastered/re-issued,its not long since they were remaster/reissued,i bought them all.
Have to say wasnt expecting much from this compilation when i saw 'Love Hurts ' noted as unreleased.its not it was on the previous compilatiom 'Livin For The Weekend',a fantastic 2 cd set.As a matter of interest they did actually tour the uk in 1980,Port Vale wasnt their only uk appearance.Regards Mr B

Not true as far Port vale being their only UK appearance as they did tour for progressions of power and great they were!
