Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
It was with much anticipation that I started reading this novel. The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns are both such beautifully written and gripping stories. It didn't disappoint. The story isn't as strong and defined as his other books, it is more a series of interwoven chapters with characters whose lives overlap but it was still unputdownable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loved Khaled Husseini's other books.

And one of the reasons I liked this review and not "Lincs Reader" (the most poplular one) is that J Holmes did NOT tell us the story. A review is supposed to be a review - NOT a précis of the book so you don't actually have to read it!
