Good, but with a serious design flaw,
This review is from: Salter Slim Design Electronic Platform Kitchen Scale, Black (Kitchen & Home)These scales are pretty decent for weighing ingredients, but have a serious design flaw.
Unless you're using them in a well lit kitchen, in the daytime, it is very difficult to read the display when anything other than a small bowl is placed on them. Put on medium sized mixing bowl or bigger, and the shadow of the bowl means you can't see the display. Had the display be tilted, or even backlit, it doubt it would be as much of an issue, but as it's not, this is a major flaw and means I need to have a torch handy to read the display when baking in the evening.
Other than that, they are easy to clean and don't take up much room. As much as they auto shut-off eventually, turning them off by holding down the on/reset button doesn't always work and can be a bit fiddly.
