Excellent film, I remember reading years ago the story it was based on, "Summer Soldier",the true story of the missing Scot's Guardsman Philip Williams, during the Falklands War of 1982. Nonetheless, I really liked the concept of film though, the very true nature of history and its events, essentially nothing can be straight forward in black and white terms. If viewers like Shane Meadows' This Is England series, "Resurrected" can be easily placed alongside such gritty portrayals. Something a lot of American films fail to do.

This was a very low budget film. but definitely made you think. loosely based on a boy called phil. it was exciting watching the plot unroll on dsadleworth moor no less. and then in a. old mental hospital. Stothes hall if I remember correctly and in and around Delph but maybe I'm biased. as my son played the young soldiers brother. Gregory. I would still give it 4 stars though.
