Severin Titanium Electronic Egg Boiler, Black,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Severin Titanium Electronic Egg Boiler, Black (Kitchen & Home)
I was misled by the Amazon description which said (at the time) it did not need water (unlike all the other egg boilers available.) This promised greater simplicity and ease of cleaning. I was therefore disappointed to find it did need water like any other and I could have got an item which would be good enough for my purposes for a lot less..
This said, it is a great product giving consistent results with a dial setting to determine the amount of hardness or softness according to preference and I chose to keep it rather than get a refund. As my wife likes boiled eggs most days this takes away the hassle of boiling water in a kettle, then dropping eggs carefully into a pan, then timing carefully.
I have, therefore, given it 5 stars but advised Amazon and the makers of the wrong description and I see it has now been corrected. Sadly I didn't get any compensation or hand-wringing apology!

agree the description must have been misleading but it stands to reason that the machine would have to have water otherwise i would think even albeit the eggs were/would be pricked they would explode surely..
