A 'must have' for cyclists,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Compact First Aid Kit (Personal Care)
Being an offroad (and onroad - when i need to commute into work or town) cyclist means that I often pick up small scrapes and scratches while on the trail.
This little kit has enough to cover all that up to a really nasty gash or any small to medium sized scrapes/cuts usually Incurred when one comes off his bike going down a really steep hill.
Last year I came off my bike quite badly when trail biking and neither me or anyone in my group had a first aid kit so I had to tough it out and make my way back home which was at least an hour or more away and the wound never stopped bleeding till I got home and patched myself up.
So its definitely worth carrying a small first aid kit with you. It weighs nothing at all and is small enough not to take up any serious space in your backpack.
everything inside looks to be of good quality, but i wont really know how good it really is until I need to patch myself or someone else up.
Given the fact that this kit is mainly made up of plasters and enough resources to treat one big nasty cut. I will most likely purchase a bigger first aid kit when im done with this one.
Cheap & cheerful,
A must have for every on/off-road cyclist
Get a bigger kit if you know you are goiung to be treating or looking after a lot of people instead of this one trick pony.
