How easy and simple could it get ?,

Brilliant. I compared this to the Withings Pulse Rate monitor £90 and the Garmin Vivofit £100
Ok so interm of functionality and features the Withings wins. It monitors everything including your BPM heartrate while you are wearing it. The app for your phone is very good. The system also integrates with scales that do BMI and a blood pressure monitor. So if you want an all singing all dancing system go this route. Overall Withings is for serious users and those who are willing to wade through the technology and believe me you will wade.
The Garmin. Very nice and works well with lots of cool stuff like chest band for heart monitoring and variable sized wrist bands. My wife likes this one and it has a nice readout showing stes etc. without the need for your phone. (The Withings is a space shuttle read out in comparison...it also doesn't need a phone to see stuff)
Lastly the Jawbone. The most expensive but by far the most simple. Nice app, 2 seconds to set up (unlike the other 2) and simplicity itself to operate and synch with your phone. Pretty inconspicuous and has only 2 indicators and a very subtle button. Neither features you'd spot just by looking at it but you will need your phone and app for data.
I'd suggest this for the casual user who doesn't like things to get overly complicated.
