Excellent camera, although a bit dated,
This review is from: Nikon D7000 Digital SLR Camera Body Only (16.2MP) 3 inch LCD - (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Camera)
I bought my Nikon D7000 about a year ago after having owned a Nikon D90. The D7000 is an excellent camera and, as far as I can tell, it could only benefit of a slightly larger MP count and better high ISO performance, hence the 4 stars only. But for its price tag, it is fantastic. I have some examples of my photos in my blog ([...] and some more in 500px ([...] If I could switch for a different camera it would only be for a full frame D800.

You MUST have known it only had 16MP when you bought the camera!

Yes, I knew it when I bought it and I am not complaining. If I wanted a slightly higher MP number I would have to look at a newer and more expensive camera but that was not a deal breaker for me. However, cameras with higher MP and ISO performance do exist and, right now, they are not that much more expensive. I am truly happy with this one but my rating is contextual, taking into account the present models and prices and not those that existed when I bought it. Hence the terms of my comment. Regards.
