Got The Blues.,
This review is from: Sharp LC46LE811E 46-inch Slim line 1080p LED LCDTV with Built in Freeview HD (100Hz Full Edge,4 Colour Technology) (Electronics)
Well After reading many good reviews about picture quality ad having a good play with one in a shop I decided to plump for this one. What a mistake!!! If you want everything to have an overly vivid LUMINOUS blue hue to then it might for you. I tried for hour to tone it down in the enormous number of settings that it had No Joy!! tried the well reviewed 'HD Basics' DVD No Joy. Called the Retailer who referred me to Sharp and gave me the wrong numberfor them!! Eventually got through to SharpServ who sent an 'engineer' who came in and basicly said it was in spec and I'd have to live with it or swap it for another make....... Still Fuming so will sign offnow. Dont Buy One!!! Poor Set, Poor Service. Come on Sharp I'm sure you can do better!!!!!

If youve played with the tv settings then its possible youve gone too deep and messed everything up - I would do a factory re-set, and just use the basic settings / then check your tv arial cable is not loose - and hasnt got a loose fitting or your arial hasnt moved position on the roof. And finally only use HDMI cables for recording etc (not scart). This HD TV picture is truely brilliant ...but will only be good if your arial cable isnt loose or damaged.

I have this TV also, It is a good set, however you do have to calibrate the set for the best results. Also their is a firmware update that I had sharp send me to fix the Freeview HD Tuner issue where the Lip sync drops out when the content changes (ie between programmes or when adverts come on) I am happy to share my settings that I have if you are interested, mine looks great.
