Fitted completely in 5 minutes at most. Delivery the next day. Cannot recommend this product highly enough if you have limited expertise in the area, as I do. Extremely easy to fit and connect. Just make sure you have sufficient F connectors and insulation tape and you're up and running in minutes.

Can I connect and switch between a Sky + box and a Humax Foxsat receiver with this ???

Crook says:
This is a quad LNB it has 4 connections. So if you need two connections for Sky+ and one for your Humax. You just need to run 3 cables from the LNB to the boxes. Freesat and Sky run off the same satellite so you wont need to mess around with positioning unless you move the dish whilst installing.

I have standard sky set up already, if i get the quad LNB would I need any more cables or can I just use the existing cables/f connectors?

today I fitted the LNB and it was the same as the original one fitted by sky about ten years ago{when I removed it .it crumbled in my hands and I had to brake the bracket as there was no way it was just sliding off the disk.. the sun has killed the plastic !!so even with this new LNB .I still have the same problems .picture breaking up and the signal fluctuating from 100% down to 0 and the quality never got above 50% and still wont go above 50% even with 20 db in line boosters I am waiting for my test meter to arrive I have looked at the post on how to use it .thank you to the person for posting that .so until it arrives its DVD s for me !! any ideas anyone ??? what else could it be if all checks out ok when my meter arrives ????

Mr. A. Beer says:
if you're just changing like for like and not adding any more boxes then yes .just ...if the coax is long enough remake the ends off to get a fresh connection {don't attempt this if you're not a competent person .I am a retired electrician and have all the right tools but even I have had problems and if you chop through the coax you could be in trouble !} today I changed the LNB on my existing sky HD dish but I am still getting the same problems .so until the meter arrives I have a crap picture .if the dish is aligned correctly and the F connectors free from corrosion and I still have the same problem .its out of my hands I will have to get shafted by sky to fix the problem .unless anyone knows why I am getting strong signal /poor/no quality and at best half a bar on the quality ..I am not an sky engineer or electronics person .commercial electrical engineering was my game but I retired in the 1990s .so I am just a DIY guy now this new tech baffles me !! I am open to suggestion .I can help regarding the basic rules of anything electrical IE turn it off before working on it make sure connections are tight and water ingress proof and the cable is not damaged at both ends .good luck
