This review is from: Fast Company (Paperback)
This book was actually recommended to me, for my summer "beach read". Needless to say, i started reading the book as soon as it landed on the doorstep.... Being a biker chick myself I was curious to learn more about Ducati and what really goes on inside those mighty towers. I visited the factory back in 2002 with a group of "girl power" bikers (all Duke's of course) - to see the museum primarily. The book accurately outlines the museum and I do seem to recall a lovely - albehim talkative - bald bloke that took us around that day. It was like being transported back in time.
The book was refreshing, sexy, vibrant and extremely well written. Makes you want to get straight on that plane, kick off your boots and sip frizzantino in the main piazza! Gross penned an electrifying story - Wonderfully daring and risky in parts. Made me feel somehow part of it all.
