This review is from: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
When I first bought Double Agent I bought the last generation Original Xbox version and was disapointed. Why was I disapointed? I was constantly reminded how the current generation had fun 'minigames' like being able to control a gun in first person mode, deciding who to execute, swimming and freefalling are not present in the old generation version, so after completing it I bought the Xbox 360 version. To my surprise the 'minigames' that I mentioned early were definately not enough to repurchase the game as the actual campaign was SO MUCH BETTER in the old-gen version. The new gen version feels really short and most of the missions are extremely boring, unlike the old-gen. Also the story is told in a different way in both versions and as many other reviews have stated, the old-gen version comes out on top.
Old Generation = Ubisoft Shanghai
Current Generation = Ubisoft Montreal
