I enjoyed this book immensely as it twisted and turned through long-ago events, the present day and spots in-between. There was a credible cast of characters and enough mystery to keep me engrossed. By the end I had rather lost some of the details of the plot so the book will be one to return to. I have to agree with another reviewer about some of the detail which was superfluous, but again, in life, we don't always know which details will be salient. And I cannot remember the title. I had to look back every time anyone asked what I was reading!
