Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
While a little expensive for one item of kitchenware, especially one that you might imagine not using all that often, the Zyliss Course Grater is clearly very professionally made.
This is a tool that feels very robust and durable, sure to last a number of years through normal usage.
Although I haven't yet used this to grate lemons, limes, or vegetables, I was eager to test this out with cheese and was very pleased with the results. When grating any hard cheese there isn't much effort required, nowhere near as much I would say as when using a standard 4-sided grater. I also didn't get the sensation of the implement buckling with the pressure I was applying. The cheese grates into cute curly ribbons too.
The handle is very comfortable to hold and the plastic shield that comes with the product a good protection against any accidental handling of the blades, which are sharp, but not as sharp as I expected.
All that's missing really is a range of colours to suit every kitchen, but other than that I couldn't fault it.
