I will keep this short. As a Frenchman, I have missed proper bread ever since I moved to the UK years ago. I can't tell you how much this book is a life saver for my taste buds and I. Highly recommended (and if you don't know where to get a stone for the oven, a granite chopping board bought for a tenner at the local supermarket, and with the non-slip feet removed, does the trick perfectly).
