5.0 out of 5 stars Recorder with everything!, 15 Aug 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Panasonic DMR-EX99VEBK 250GB HDD DVD/VHS Recorder with Freeview+ (Electronics)
I cannot rate this product too highly, I set it up for a friend of mine who's VHS had broken, she wanted something that would record from the television, watch DVD's and still be able to watch her VHS tapes. With this she can record straight to the hard drive or blank DVD or a VHS tape. I was so impressed with this product that I brought myself one. It is a breeze to set up and a joy to use, it is just so easy and simple to use. First rate product. I am now trying to talk my other teckno phobic friends to buy one!

"just so simple and easy to use" - you must be better at understanding incomprehensible user guides than I am, then

I have found with the Panasonic BWT720 (and it's predecessors the BWT700 and the BW780) that Panasonic's engineering is excellent and the logic of operation is actually quite reasonable but the manuals are best avoided altogether. Just use commonsense, follow the menus and you should be OK. Only use the manual as a last resort if you are really stuck!
