This review is from: 200 Crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws and Afghans: Crochet Squares to Mix-and-Match (Paperback)
It has some wonderful ideas for blocks, mostly done by making coloured shapes with in it. However, disapointingly, there are not 200 unique patterns.
The first 100 are unique, after 100, they come in waves of 4, so theres only 25 different squares. However, it does show how to combine them to make interesting patterns using the same squares.
Im still glad I bought it though

I think that a book which profers to have 200 different square designs, should have 200 different designs, and not a variety of one design by changing the colours, and then to class it as different, is a false declaration.

I agree. But the word is 'purports'! I have a personal campaign to popularise this useful verb which is on the tips of so many people's tongues and yet often comes out different. It's useful because neutral, can take a non-animate subject and is not necessarily negative - unlike 'pretend'. 'To proffer' means to display (he proffered his passport) or 'to provide' mixed with 'to offer' (we declined the proffered sandwiches).
