3.0 out of 5 stars two for the price of three!, 1 April 2007
This review is from: Please Yourself (Platinum Re-Issue) (Audio CD)
so jacqui left the building and pete waterman came in! sadly he doesnt recapure what bananarama were all about!

the album is a stock aitken waterman album of that hugely infectious beat..but how many times do you want or need it!

three singles were released "movin on" "more more more" and "last thing on my mind" covered by steps and none hit the charts alight!in fact probably ended the credibility of the best girl band to come out of the uk! it may have seemed like a winner..but look at donna summers career after her saw outing! - never taken seriously again!

singles aside - the rest of the album shows a lack of songwriting talent..the vocals over produced..the fun lost!

"give it up" has a spark! and is a good song and "i could be persuaded"i co0uld be persuaded" is nice floaty pop!

the bonus tracks are mainly mixes but you get "another lover" which is stronger than a lot of the album tracks but in steps mode and "treat me right" which is more instrumental saw!

ok for your collection..but stick to the early albums or the "drama" which was a return to form!
