This review is from: Goodbye America (Paperback)
I'm just in the process of reading this, so I might update the review later, but I doubt if I will change my 5-star rating of it.
It is shorter, and perhaps a little more concise than "Grip of Death". He also reviews the main points of our crazy money and debt system, which is one of the main reasons perhaps, for Third World Debt. The other reason seems to be that at Bretton Woods in 1944, The US view prevailed, and not the UK one represented by J.M. Keynes, and had his view prevailed, we might not have Third World Debt as we know it today.
Keynesianism is out of fashion in general at the moment, and so we are all living through a painful and unnecessary and ineffective austerity programme. I am quite confident that Keynes will be proved right yet again, eventually. It's a pity that a lot of people will have to suffer before that happens though.
