Wonderfully warm collection of stories and anecdotes from a golden age of racing. Hardly a literary classic, but gives a very personal and readable insight into the jolly japes and high jinks that accompanied the 50s racers lifestyle - certainly improved my appreciation of why people went racing at a time when danger really meant something!
