BBC once again shows CONTEMPT for fans,
This review is from: Steve Coogan - The Complete Coogan Box Set [DVD] (DVD)
Oh what a suprise!!! now that us Coogan fans have payed cash to buy all his work on BBC dvd NOW they have the nerve to release the Calf video diary and ferrino stuff ONLY in this set so we have to buy it all again at a hefty price to get it. Im sick of their arrogance, why not put the ferrino/calf stuff out on seperate dvd also for us loyal buyers who have the other stuff.
Its not an isolated incident, they did the same with the Hancocks half hours, you bought the individual volumes and THEN had to buy them all again in the set just to get an episode not included on individual releases. and then theres the steptoe and son christmas specials dvds EDITED by some idiot, grrrr. The BBC needs to get its act together, they show contempt for the customer.

I'm afraid you'll have to dig the old VCR out of the attic if you wanna watch the Calf/Ferrino stuff.

i totally agree with you, and it's not just the beeb that does it - the other piece of brilliant work was done on itv or c4 - four fights, 1 wedding and a funeral - this was brilliant and i did have it on vhs - taped from telly - i wonder what delights the channel that did this work are going to lump it with - just so you'll buy it? but i have bought so many, so called collections, that they later re-issue with an added programme/film you can't get elsewhere - they're thieves the lot of them - but then that's the nature of the politicians we keep electing

I would complain about this bought I picked it up for £4.32 through Great Entertainment. I know absolute bargain. The outer case did get slightly damaged in the post as they only pack items in jiffy bags and not cardboard boxes, but as they only had one in stock I might as well keep it
