We haven't been to Vienna for many years so I can't judge the current accuracy of the information in the book but, I can say this is a decent little book that has a minimum of information on most of the key sights. It is small and light enough to fit in a bag or (large) pocket, although I can't help thinking that it would be better if this was also available as an ebook or app for a smart phone. Stylewise I still prefer the DK Eyewitness books, but they are way too heavy to cary with you on holiday. The Cadogan guides are usually my first choice as background reading (although I haven' read the Vienna one) but this is a conveniently sized, reasonably comprehensive, brief guide to have with you when you're there. Worth considering.
