This review is from: Cake Chic (Hardcover)
Cake Chic is a fabulously stylish book filled with breathtaking cake and biscuit designs. From page one, you can't help but fall in love with the exquisite designs and ideas illustrated in this book.
As only a novice cake decorator myself, my first thought was these designs would be dreadfully complicated to replicate, but the author's instructions and clear guidelines on each and every recipe make them definitely doable.
I can't wait to try my hand at some of these glorious cakes and wow my friends. Love it! Very inspirational and great fun; would make a super gift for any pretty lady who loves baking and who wants to be inspired!

Thanks very much for posting the video - I was desperate to see inside the book and a bit peeved that the publisher hadn't bothered to post any images. Cheers! 8-)

great idea to post a video!!! my mum had borrowed this book from her local library and i fell in love with it but it went back before i could take note of the details-your video has helped me remember it by the recipies inside!! thankyou!! If only all the cooking books on here had a 15 sec video to show you the types of recipies on offer-wouldnt it be great?? thats something for amazon to think about! definatly makes it easier to decide if you want to buy it!

PS Just noticed that this is your only review, Laura, and given that it was posted before the book went on general release, I'm very much hoping it's a genuine review, and not a publisher or author 'shill'......

A genuine question. How can you be sure that you'll be able to replicate these designs if you haven't even attempted anything from the book yet?
It is for this reason that this review is not at all helpful. Pretty pictures are one thing, actually baking is another.
