Sage is the industry standard when it comes to payroll software, ideal if you’re running a small business. This version allows you to calculate payroll for up to 25 employees and will automatically calculate tax, national insurance and statutory payments. You can also set up deductions for pensions and child-care vouchers which may come in handy for some employers.
This version also includes features that allow an employer to manage employee pensions inline with new legislation. Plus you get a year's worth of SageCover Online support which will keep your software up-to-date with any changes in legislation.
Great all-round payroll software, it pays to get everything set up correctly at the start and it takes a little while to pick up, but once you’ve used it a few times you start to get the hang of it. Recommended for any small business looking to provide payroll for a small number of employees.
