Ticks All The Right Safety Boxes But Uncomfortable,

I am wearing the glasses as I type this review. Away from my face the polycarbonate lenses are crystal clear but as soon as I put the glasses on they start to fog up despite the fact it is a cold day and I am not visibly perspiring - it is like looking at everything through a fine mist. Not good for doing detailed work, then. The glasses hurt the bridge of my nose - my nose is wider than the space allowed and the glasses do not 'sit' right. Somehow that makes them very uncomfortable to wear. Definitely not something I could wear and forget I was wearing anything, definitely not for wearing for long periods, I'd say 30 minutes at a time would be the absolute maximum. I imagine these specs were designed as disposible glasses for casual visitors to a lab or factory and not for the people normally stationed in the lab or factory. I needed safety specs for periods when working with a drill or polisher at a home workbench. I might get away with using these but I would prefer to buy a replacement and keep these as emergency back-up or as visitor's glasses if anyone visits my workshop when I am working. At least I now know what points to look for in the replacement safety glasses: they must have ventilation to stop fog, they must have wider space for my nose, they must have rubberised tips for comfort where the glasses rest on my nose and ears. Would I recommend these glasses to others? Only if you intend to use them very rarely, for very brief periods, and you have a thin bridge to your nose.
Aside to self: Good grief! Just call me Little Big Nose! I feel my readers must imagine I have a face like a camel! Until today, I would have said I have the aquiline features of a Basil Rathbone but apparently not. Darn, another illusion dashed!
