not for the ipad,
The code formatting is totally broken on the kindle app for the iPad. I guess it'll be the dead tree version or nothing.

Not really. It gives an insight into how this product looks on a very popular platform. Hopefully someone has taken notice and has looked to see if its a bug in the Kindle iPad app or problems with how the book has been authored. Reviews shouldn't just be about the content of the book, but also how it plays with the various reading platforms.

Should have combined that with a review of the content.

I don't think it fair that the book should get one star just because it wouldn't play on an ipad. The majority of us would prefer the hard copy anyway, so it's the content that matters more than a problem with reading it on a toy.

As an Amazon question - Are the reviews for the Kindle/iPad and Paper editions all bundled together? The review is relevant on the Kindle commentary area but appears out of place on the Paper comments. If I glance at the star ratings I am more likely to assume it is the content which is 1 star. Guess it is impossible to make a simplistic guide cover all bases.
