This review is from: UKayed ® Turbo Twister Radio Controlled 360° Rotation Stunt Car Flips Spins & More (With Magical Lights) (Toy)
I purchased this via Amazon as "UKayed ® Turbo Twister Radio Controlled 360° Rotation Stunt Car Flips Spins & More (With Magical Lights)" for my grandson's 4th birthday in October. It arrived promptly, so full marks for delivery. However, I am unable to match the description on the box to the title on the web site. It claims to be a UKayed No. 9028 Invincible Tornado, Multifunctional remote-controlled Magic aerobatic car with Turbo 360 Front Axle Spins - Super Wheelies - Spinning Action - Blazing Speed. No mention of "magical lights" - although the packaged car appears to have some clear lights in the cab, by the clear wheels but nothing obvious in the wheels - though a picture on the packaging implies there are.
As it's a present, I do not wish to unpack the item - I simply want confirmation it is what I ordered and paid for.
The third party supplier insists it is correct and that they supply only one such toy.
The confusion in identity is the cause of my poor rating. I hope to improve this when my grandson opens the parcel and expresses his delight.
My grandson has now opened the present and is delighted. The toy turns out to be the one I had expected though a different colour. It spins and rolls and has multi-coloured lights. He was able to play with it immediately (once the batteries had been charged) and was thrilled by its abilities. I guess he will be having competition from his dad to play with it.
The only downer is the quality of the controller. The build of the car is fine and it can cope with all surfaces from smooth wood to deeper carpet. On the whole the controller is robust but the rigid aerial could easily be broken off. I know that it's target is 5+ but younger siblings can be caught up in the excitement and grab hold of it and there is a risk of damage. Hopefully this is not too soon.
