This review is from: Bodum Hot Pot Gourmet Measuring Jug, 1.0 l, 34 oz, Borosilicate Glass (Kitchen & Home)
This is a very nice-looking and easy to use measuring jug, but, be warned, it is incredibly fragile for use in a busy kitchen. I have just broken my second one of these jugs. The first fell out of my floor-level cupboard - about six inches onto the cushioned floor - and smashed into smithereens; I suppose it was understandable that it broke. However, with the second jug, I literally just tapped it against a mixing bowl and a fifty-pence-sized chunk of glass fell out of the bottom. I am just about to order a Pyrex or plastic replacement!

D. Wulff says:
I've had two of these now, and one of the 0.5L version, and both of the big ones have broken. In each case I have no idea how but a small 2-3mm hole appeared along the bottom edge which was not detected until pouring liquid into them and finding it dribbling out of the bottom. I suspect they must have been knocked. I too have returning to plastic jugs, which is a shame because these did look lovely.
