Great Album!! But....,
This review is from: Never Apologise Never Explain (Audio CD)
I found this album didn't grab me right away. The previous album high anxiety caught my attention right from the 1st listen but this one takes time. Before I purchased this I downloaded the 3 stanbridge farm demos from the therapy? site and I was impressed. The finished versions of these 3 songs just aren't as good as the demos. All the bits which made the songs great seem to have been changed on the finished album. If you want an example just listen to the perish the thought demo then listen to the album version.Another negative is the absence of the famous guitar riffs that you expect/want to hear thrown in here and there as they are a big part of the therapy sound and what makes them special and unique.I wonder what they were listening to when they wrote this.
All in all, you'd be hard pushed to find a better album this year.
